Engine throwing out coolant..
Discussion
Anyone got any ideas?
Suspected head gasket. Took the head off and there are signs the gasket has been blowing, thought we were sorted. Rebuilt it and its still doing the same thing.
The head visually looked ok.
Its got wet liners so I guess it could be that but the water is crystal clear no oil. Does not smell of combustibles.
Would it be possible the pressure is building up for any other reason?

You say you suspected the head gasket. Why ? What were the symptoms, what tests were done to verify head gasket ?
Are whatever symptoms you have now, the same as before ? Other ?

Sorry should have posted more info but was in a bit of a panic that it was the liners and was ringing round getting prices on bits... its a PACCAR engine.
It turned out to be the compressor head. It was tested ok before we did the head gasket but the test (pinch off the water lines) must not have been 100% as there must have been air still in the block or something which lead us to think HGF.
Anyway, all sorted now new compressor head and compressor gasket and its been tested all fine.
On the plus side we know the HG should be good for a good while too!!! (expensive mistake!)
