It's a classic car item about 1000 x 300 x 100mm boxed. Fairly lightweight.

So even though it's a one to one sale, paying through paypal will cover me.
I presume I have to get him to send me a paypal invoice or something.
I'd already told him I was uncomfortable with a straight forward payment and he suggested paypal, so he may be an honest one.
About 15 years ago I was done for a 100 in this way and it's made me very wary.

Yeah Paypal, choose the 'pay for goods or service' option. The other option is 'send money to a friend' or something like that. He'll loose 5% in fees, but at least you'll be covered. He'll need to send the item via a tracked service.
