Best screen wash
Discussion
I hate screen wash, it always leaves a total mess on the car.
I swapped to Anglewax glass products and have had great results with no mess all over the paintwork.
Angelwax glass cleaner doesn't flash too fast and gives plenty of working time, use a diamond weave towel to apply and a second to buff off. completely steak free finish.
Then add 2 coats of Angelwax glass sealant. applied and removed in the same way as the cleaner.
maintain with Anglewax screenwash mixed with deionised water.

I've never encountered and mess on the paintwork left by screw wash unless you mean some foam right after wiping?
There's usually a soapy residue, but by the time you're having to spray oodles of screenwash, it's a bit too late to be thinking about how clean the car is anyway.
I usually opt for Prestone; Either the yellow premix from Tesco or the Blue concentrate (Which I'll usually use neat anyway, as it's so cheap) from costco.
I've never had any issues with it's cleaning or cold weather performance.

I always use this... https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/triple-qx-ready-mix...
+1 for Prestone. The Autoglym stuff is good too, but expensive at winter dilution rates unless buying in trade quantities.
IMHE the purple Halfords -10 stuff is best avoided. I found it left sticky purple globules on the bodywork, though that may be because it didn't agree with a previous screenwash.
I also found that CarPro Ceriglass was the only thing I tried that could remove some smeary residue on the outside of the screen, and that some decent waffle weave microfibres have made it much easier to keep the inside of the windscreen clean.

Thanks for the tip, just spent £70 on the car pro site on glass polishing stuff. IMHE the purple Halfords -10 stuff is best avoided. I found it left sticky purple globules on the bodywork, though that may be because it didn't agree with a previous screenwash.
