Once again a great evening topped off with a really good BBQ.
Usual selection of GT3s and RSs plus one or two interlopers ! I barely saw a car whilst out on track all evening. It really gives you a chance to concentrate on your lines and get into a rhythm when you're not having to worry about tripping over Caterfields and Radicals etc. I'm sure I put in my quickest ever lap of Bedford by quite a margin.

Given the space available on track I think in one of these shorter evening sessions you easily do as many track-miles as you would on any other full day, and it's a perfect length of time to avoid serious brain fade and the end of day 'have-a-go heroics' that sometimes happens.

Highly recomended. Thanks to the team once again !

Thankyou

Sean,Andrew and Steve

Great evening and a well deserved BBQ after

I had a good evening - sorry I didnt speak to many
people as I had an Instructor booked for the full
session - I have decided to stop spending money on my car and start spending it on my driving skills

Hi fellas.

I quite agree about Bedford being the place where you can do your fastest lap. It's a great place to really push the car. Sean's/Andy's days are excellent. I went on one of their evening ones not long back and I'm going again to the one on July 1. Can't wait.

Great evening on track, and good to meet a few people.

Kerbed my rear wheel on the way to the track - how easily are they repaired - and losing my front splitter on track. Only noticed today when I started to clean the car - anybody know how much a new one is? Can you get better ones?

Cheers,

Mark

Great evening at Bedford last Thursday. Looking forward to the July evening.

Mark, I got a replacement splitter from Parrs last year for around £90.00 for my Mk 1. This is the motorsport splitter which is cheaper than the road version which costs about £175.00 from an OPC.

I heard the motorsport version produces a bit more downforce.

Mark,

Good to meet you there,

Shame my tyres were in such a bad way for the couple of laps we had.

I also lost my splitter at Bedford the other night, didn't realise until i got home !!!

I am being told that the motor sport option is better and cheaper.

Thanks Geoff, I'll give them a call - not as costly as I thought.

Thanks for the few laps in your car, it really is well set up. Looks like you'll be investing in a motorsport splitter too!

So you where the unfortunate one! I was going down the straight, saw the mess and swerved not knowing what it was! Sorry to hear about the car - and I was pissed off with losing the splitter and kerbing the wheel. Hope it's not too costly!

Cheers, Mark
