Bells suspended over the road at a railway crossing

to answer a question for my daughter and spotted this

does anyone recall where these are in the U.K.

This isn't something I've seen anywhere. Maybe it is used in more rural areas on farm crossings, etc?

I just checked out the crossing at Kirknewton as I know the line is electrified, and there is nothing I can see that indicates the height of the cabling to drivers.

I would imagine that there is some kit up a pole that generates a continuous beam, and when this beam is broken the barriers come down automatically? I can see some anonymous-looking poles at another crossing I know of up in Stirling.

I haven't seen bells but there's a row of chains hanging down on the A619 between Chesterfield and Worksop to warn of the bridge at Darfoulds.
