The client has specified Netsuite for a hugely backed start-up, its bloody expensive and I feel they might have been "sold" this without realising the other options. However, I am reticent to roll out other systems as I don't really know what is a Netsuite competitor (from A-Z)

The team have a call this afternoon so if anyone can point me at alternatives that would be great.

Cheers

I don't have an immediate answer for you, but it seems a bit of a hammer to crack a nut. I have a dislike of erp as I've never seen one that managed to fulfill all aspects well.

So I'd be interested to hear how you get on.

I can see benefits to starting from scratch with a system like this, it will give them the chance to structure their business processes in the 'netsuite' way which might help them later.. As long as it's the right product of course.

Sorry this is no help, good luck and if you need any help integrating anything give us a shout.

Jon your options are spot on, Davidd I agree.
However we had the call (brand new client) and they are happy with it and are paying for the setup with our task just to link to Shopify. It’s really expensive but not an issue this is a well backed project starting on Shopify Plus and done the right way.

It’s USA based so was never going to be the “normal” stuff.

I’m updating my “starting again” this weekend as it’s been an eventful few weeks !

If you'd like to look at Intact ERP Software - Let me know.

It's a fantastic flexible product that's easy to use... Happy to help and give you a non-sales demo!

Thanks chaps but they’ve gone with Netsuite and paid for a Celigo set up, we are asked to connect Celigo to Shopify Plus which is straightforward.

Although a startup they have a strategic plan to work with a large retailer who uses Netsuite. I didn’t know this when I first posted.
