DB9 Removing both rocker covers
Discussion
Hi, would like some advice, later on in the year I will be replacing the sparkplugs/coils/PCV valves, this is straight forward as i've done this before.
As my car is 15 years old now and even though there are no oil leaks i'm thinking about removing the rocker covers to replace the gaskets and sparkplug oil seals. It's a great time to do it as the inlet manifolds are off.
I've read in the DB9 workshop manual you need to "lower the rear suspension", this is to gain access to a wiring loom at the rear of the covers, this sound weird as i'm not sure why you need to touch the rear suspension???
If anyone has done this before please let me know if you need to move the engine or torque tube as i'm not sure if there is enough clearance between the rocker covers and the front bulkhead to lift them off??
Any advice would be appreciated.

Will this help?

Thanks for your posts, i think people are getting confused with the inlet manifolds and the rocker covers.
Aston 1936 has only done the inlet manifolds, not the rocker covers so not much help.
Thanks to SS972 I do believe that the rocker covers can be removed without moving the engine so I'll be doing this over next winter whilst the car is tucked up in the garage.
Thanks
