BMW N54 Injector Recall

Hey guys,

Anyone hear about this?

Recall 10e-a02 thats running currently in North America means that they are replacing original injectors in all N54 cars with new Index 12 injectors. Mine I think will need replacing soon, I'd love if this was brought to Europe, could do with saving myself £2k!

Any chance this could trickle into us too since it seems to be emission related, and we're all trying to be environmentally friendly here now

I seen a few clips on you tube regarding injectors as I was trying to learn what the issues were all about and how there are changed and the coding's etc... and heard a couple of American guys go on about recall and I was curious as to why they had one and we didn't, I called my local dealer regarding this and they just said the only recalls at the mo were airbag related, so I'm curious as to why they got a recall over there and we haven't, different injectors on their cars maybe?? As mine aren't too bad I haven't replaced any as Im waiting for prices to drop... or a recall lol
