Diabetes Urine Test

Quick one knowledgeable chums

I have my annual part 1 diabetes check tomorrow afternoon and as usual they`ve requested an early morning sample.

As I`ve got to work in the morning and up and away at 5am, I duly filled up my sample bottle this morning instead so i don`t forget tomorrow.

My missus is adamant it will degrade and cause a false reading. I assumed it`s in a sealed bottle and they`ve got to send it off on a Saturday anyway so probably wouldn`t make any difference.

Have I been a dunce, or will it be fine?

Personally I would do it on the morning you intend to submit so it's fresh!
