N52 Superchargher Kit resale?

Yes this is yet another post about something I am think of which I may well never do; so if the materialisation of the conclusion of a thread is important to you then I would stop reading now...
anywho...
the overarching theme is that in a year or so I will probably upgrade my car properly. In the interim I am looking at either a small upgrade or doing something different.
The car I am currently dailying is a Z4 3.0si coupe. I was looking at all sort of options to change to in the short term...XKR, S5, S4 etc but then I came back to the supercharger idea.
The question is this...the ESS supercharger which I understand should be a pretty straightforward install (for my mechanic not for me) is about £4-5k dependant on the taxes thrown on it when bought from the USA...
How much would you expect to be able to recoup from this if it was removed from the car and sold separately when I finally ditch the car?
