A few months in the making i finally bought one last June and in doing so broke a cardinal rule of never buying from a dealer.

There's a very long story attached to the purchase but ill let the pics do the talking for now -
removed from my original post as they have been kindly turned the correct way by interstellar below!

A big thanks to short_shift for providing wise counsel during my very long journey to get here and to everyone else that chimed in during my many musings and ramblings last year

Can’t remember seeing a 997 GT3 of either generation in that colour before. Looks lovely.

Looks great in that colour, congrats... Come along to the meet at Caffiene and Machine on the 15th or 22nd March? Good way to get some miles on it maybe.

Well done rc1. It's been a heck of a wait! Worth it?

Nice one and great cars. I’ve had two one of which was so good I sold a 996 RS to get back onto one and I have no regrets.

Also manual all the way now for me especially given the interaction it gives you at regular speeds over the PDK.

TIt's a long time since I have been on here but very spooky that I think it iis my old car. I bought it from Mid Sussex and PX'd it back to them for a 991GT3. Original owner was Reigate and it came from Guildford originally if I remember. I have the original fire extinguisher from the car still in my garage and I now have a Lizard GT3RS from Mid Sussex. I'd be very happy to reunite you with the original extinguisher and I may still have the fixing bracket too.
