Oh I think so...stunning car with a thunderous n/a V12 and for me more handsome than both the DB11 and current DBS ( although they are lovely too). Also why have they plastered ASTON MARTIN on the back of the newer models...wings badge alone is infinitely cooler no?

Sorry, the DB9 2004-2012 is the most beautiful Aston ever made.

Elegant lines, not too aggressive styling with perfect proportions.

Powerful V12 under the hood, Perfect.

No contest......(Second gen Vanq is a great car though)

Branding.

I.e. so that in non-UK markets where the wings logo is less recognisable, people who swarm around the car know what it is...

Vanquish wins hands down for me in the modern era. Absolutely stunning shape and amazing V12.

DB4 from the classics.

My choice if I won the lottery: Vahalla smile

RS you might be right though i do love the proportions of my V12V.
Oh and when you start a thread like this don't forget a Photo.

Just to add i have been watching the S model and what's worrying is that they just do not seem to sell.

There was an S that came up at a main dealer down south last week for £110k and it was gone in a couple of days.

Not that I am biased in anyway but the Vanquish is the last of the non turbo V12's and the best.

Vanquish S cars have a price premium of approx £40K when compared to a non S, not really worth it for the minor differences that's probably why they hang around for a long while.

Really? I missed that. The cheapest i have seen is the white car at £125k and its been for sale at least six months, your one explains why then.

Beauty is subjective - I find the 77-89 V8 Vantage to have the most attractive lines and proportions of any AM badged offering from any decade.

Good point on the photo! Yeah that colour especially shows the lines and creases so well...I was out the other day and a Vanquish S gave it the beans going the opposite direction oh my what a noise, is there any diff in the sound level between a Vanquish S and a V12 Vantage S assuming stock exhaust? My old Vantage was stock and sounded great but that Vanquish seemed even louder.

Personally I think the styling differences, extra pipes, and adaptive damping changes are worth every penny.

Yes. As standard the Vanquish S is definitely fruitier, and sounds epic in Volante form (I don't think I've heard anything that sounds better), but remove the secondary cats from a V12VS and it must be getting pretty close.

There looks to be a 2017 Vanquish S going for £110k at HWM, tiny bit up on the miles tho

Nice cars fellas, are the back seats in them any use at all even for small kids?

Something about the DB9 shape with the extra muscle of the DBS bits just works so well. I STILL lust after one despite having tried it and found it didn’t suit me and feeling much more comfortable with my little Vantage instead.
