Has anyone swopped out the rear lights/brake lights for LEDs? If so any links?

Yes, I have.
BUT - have since removed them because the offset pins seem to be too 'short' to pick up the slots in the lamp holder, and would thus vibrate out.
In discussing this with supplier, I was advised that the metal bases are mass produced and the pins resistance welded to the base prior to assembly. The action of the machine resistance welding tends to 'dimple' the area around the pins...causing them to be slightly shorter. Why this isn't the same for incandescent lamps, which fit fine, I can't understand.

I've posted this on a ChimpOnGas thread, and had a few alternative suppliers suggested.

You could swap the whole unit for an LED unit - rather than just the bulb.

TVR just held them in with silicone unless the friction fit was 'good'. biglaugh

Trying to keep it “original” with the benefit of led brightness.

Just retain the old units. As I said, they are most likely just pushed in place.

Unless you have the LR units.

I got these in the end.
Reverse and fog lights.
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2...
Stop/tail lights
NATGIC 1157 BAY15D 2057 2357 7528... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B078XP1DKG?ref=ppx_pop...
Both types are straight swops for the original bulbs and are MUCH brighter.

Bit of an update!
I also ordered the combined stop/tail lights from Auxito (US company - parts from China)

Arrived after about 7 working days. Shipped from China through Hong Kong to UK - courier to Southampton.

Fitted in the afternoon.....and very pleased. Perfect 'fit' in lamp holder, noticeable improvement in brightness and very happy….All for $19.99 - £14.70.

Bit of an update from me too - the NATGIC 1157 BAY15D bulbs mentioned above came and fitted perfectly.
A great upgrade, a lot brighter

Anyone got the low down on the main/dipped LED head lights too? I see some older threads on the subject but wonder if any intrepid folk had found any good ones recently.
