We are currently renovating our main residence and are renting round the corner. The renovations include putting cabling into the new part of the house, a shed etc.

When we moved we contacted BT, our broadband provider and they moved the broadband, phone etc. The process worked well and I have no reason to think it will not work well the other way. Ideally, however, for a short period - a month or so - I would like broadband in both places. Any idea if this is possible? I tried calling BT but struggled to make them understand what I want.

Thoughts and advice appreciated. Thanks in advance

Cheapest and simplest is probably just go and buy a Smarty 30 day "unlimited data" SIM card and either tether to a phone or buy a cheap MiFi dongle.

No contract and should work assuming you have a decent signal there.
