A great thanks to every one who contributes to this forum,after reading different posts and looking and test driving various cars i get my dream motor tomorrow,a 96 N two owner 45k miles 993 C4S . I looked at the car nearly 3 weeks ago, had it inspected by Peter Morgan the next day (a thoroughly nice chap who really knows his stuff)and done the deal over the phone straight away.It has been the longest three weeks ever but tomorrow is nearly here i just hope the sun shines and i somehow manage to sleep tonight.

Well done Jason,

Like you I am also picking up my first Porsche tomorrow and guess what,.....a 993 C4S. Also waited almost 3 weeks, and had an inspection done by Strasse in Leeds.
Doubt if I will get much sleep either, just like Christmas Eve when we were kids.

I have a 300 mile trip to get mine home, just hope I can stop when I get home and not keep driving.

Congratulations to both of you. You'll now have to most gorgeous rounded haunches to caress, lust over, etc. (not that I'm biased either ).

Now I wonder if the experience will make either of you think of going to defcon 3 and getting the twin-hairdrier version - same sexy shape just with a special smile inducing, intoxicating kick in the ass.

For a couple of weeks I've been using mine to go to work every day - even if I can rarely open her in the rush hour commute it still makes the journey a pleasure rather than a routine chore.
