I’ve just upgraded to Office 2003 from Office 97 and have taken the opportunity to move from Outlook Express to Outlook. I exported all the relevant folders and addresses and everything is working OK except that I receive duplicate E-mails i.e. two of everything. I’ve trawled through the settings in Outlook and can’t see anything that would be causing this. Any help would be welcome.

Cheers

The only thing that I can think of is that maybe you installed two copies of your email account in Outlook and then Outlook checks mail so quickly that two copies of the message are downloaded (1 from each "account"

Yeh - open up OTLOOK, not xpress and go into Tools, then Accounts. You will probably have two accoutns the same here, click the one that doesn't say 'default' and click delete. Shoud stop duplicating you accounts.

Hi Sorted it. The rules I imported had duplicated themselves I deleted them & set new ones which seem to have resolved the problem. Thanks for the response.
