Well, tomorrow is the day of reckoning. Going to see Ian in Cheshire to, hopefully, sort out the awful Shunting I've got at light throttle. He says he can fix it so it's fingers and all other extremities crossed.

Job Done, only a slight bit of a shunt there now and, apparantly, they all do that. Ian at Middlewich MOT Centre, ex Christopher Neil Technician, now working for himself. Know his TVRs does that man !!!
Mine was cured by running without the vac advance, a change of timing would do the same but with a drop in performance.
