Insurance for off the road bike

Bike arrived today :)
As I won't be getting my licence for another month or so, how would I go about getting it insured while it's chained up in my garage? Can I put it on home contents or is there another way to do it?
All the insrance companies on the web seem to want to know what licence I've got but I haven't got one!

Does anyone know what I should do?
