The most beautiful Aston....
Discussion
Just reading the thread on the new grille on the convertible Vantage, and comments about old/new Vantage, and it made me wonder, being such a subjective thing, which Aston might take the ‘crown’ for most beautiful
I still remember very clearly seeing a new Vantage in a farm shop car park just outside York late ‘05 early ‘06 and it blew me away... happened again last year when I saw a DBS SL at Aston Cambridge... where would your vote go?

The most beautiful Aston is the one parked on your driveway

If this had been made by Aston I think it would take the cake!

This is actually very true. I was washing mine yesterday, after a couple weeks of no driving/seeing it and I found myself thinking "this is a very beautiful car, from every angle".
Otherwise, it would be difficult to say. My picks: original Vanquish, DBS first gen, current DBSS, DB4, DB5, Zagatos modern and vintage, One-77, Vantage V600 (I like it
).2006 Vantage.
All of the grace and restrained detailing of Astons past.
Clearly modern
Aged impeccably
proportionally spot on
(I was going to go with 2006 DBS, but it has 'aggressive' bits.... beauty is not aggressive)
The 60's stuff is all good, but doesn't stand out amongst it's contemporaries as much as the '06
The DB9 is beautiful, but a bit 'long' (for me)
Never got the fuss of the DB7
None of the new stuff has any grace, it's all muscle, 'aggression' and bad detailing..
All subjective... but there simply is not a bad line, surface, detail or proportion that isn't nailed by the 06' Vantage imo.
and that's why in 3 years (when my plans allow), I'm getting one....

I agree...simple clean lines, no fuss, no bling, just perfect as it is!
