That's awful.

Complete speculation, but I wonder if he was suffering with Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a sort of dementia caused by repeated head knocks & concussions. It's been suspected in several family murder suicides, including the wrestler Chris Benoit.

There is not much worse than three kids under 10 being killed by their dad.

yes

It seems only recently that the results of concussion and head trauma in sport is being taken seriously. Friend of mine retired from rugby at the age of 28 following a concussion, now suffers daily migraine like pain and personality changes.

Awful incident regardless frown

very interesting about what has been learned from brain scans. NFL players are a key one... repeated and heavy head impacts.

This is just a few mins from where I live in Brissie and as you can imagine is all over the news here.

The couple used to run a "crossfit" style gym in the next suburb from me which recently closed down.. there's a whole lot more to this I think as the guy had multiple stab wounds.

Terrible situation none-the-less. Truly awful.

You would need to be seriously mentally deranged or just an evil piece of st to do something like that.

I'm sure plenty of people will emerge from the woodwork over the next few days to say he had issues or had sought help and was let down or something along those lines.
