I am in need of a clear DB9 rear light as mine's failed. I opened it last summer and resealed it. This worked for a while but the time has come to replace it.

8D33-13405-AG is the part number.

Is the AM dealer my only option? I've tried googling and used lights appear on ebay with comments like "not sure why this was removed by the previous owner". Sure... similar to "it probably just needs a re-gas to get the aircon working".

Any suggestions please

Aston Martin Bits has a clear right on the webpage. Hope that helps ...

I had the same dilemma, after months of e-bay browsing, I bit the bullet and bought a new one. I also took it stage further and bought the pair as it was £1200 for both vs £800 for one.

The AM dealer was quoting me £950 per side.

Got mine through Chiltern Aston, April last year.

Guess that is a fitted price?

Yes, you are right. I hadn't accounted for the fact that they would be fitted for that price.

Try Aston Martin at Cambridge. I bought a new one (red lense) there last year for £550 ish, which seemed like good deal. Not sure why they were cheaper than other dealers but I was glad to take advantage of the opportunity.

When my rear light failed on my Vantage, I got the replacements from an independent guy who does Aston parts at decent prices. He was a few hundred cheaper than the dealer (for new, although he had used ones too) - and even better, I "part exchanged" my other working light. Used him for a front grill as well - nice guy, good to deal with.

PM me if you want his number (don't own the Aston anymore, so don't browse on here very often).
