Folks

Happen to pop into my local halfords last week and came across this: At last a DVD MP3 player without too many silly gizmo's on it:

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/3437.html

Appears that fitting it is no problem, but I also want to change those Sony speaks for something with a bit more muscle (so I can listen to the Best of Motorhead properly :-) )

I dont know how deep the door is ? Are those stock Sony's 17cm ? Any help / abuse appreciated as usual.

Thanks & Rgds Mark

Have seen that for sub £400 somewhere. I'll see if I can dig out the web-site.

Nice but how are you going to see the screen way down there under the dash?

I dont really care too much about the screen per se (ie; for watching DVD's) -- I simply want a DVD MP3 player (so I can get 20-30 cd's in the car at once) make sense?

Try this website www.dension.com. They have a DH100iX radio MP3 player with 40GB hard drive. How about 10,000 MP3 songs in your car !!!. Have one in my M400 and just great.

Or similarly, the Omnifi DMP1

www.omnifimedia.com/products/omnifi_details.jsp?productId=12541&partner=

Just had mine put in. Great bit of kit
It has a wireless AP on it so if you've got a wireless network in your house, it will automatically synchronise the music collection with the one on your PC...pics imminent !

It 'only' has a 20GB HD but it uses a toshiba 2.5" laptop HD, so i'm going to make a modification
