Top lip, looks like i had cleft pallet fixed or something.

Reality was that the old woman next door's dog bit my lip... on my 5th birthday. My earliest memory.

Kid down the street threw a tin of Dulux paint at my head because I said we had a better garden.

On my right hand, I was chasing a lad from up the street with a milk bottle to smash him over the head and tripped over and cut my hand to pieces. Good times.

Playing cricket in the back lane with a couple of neighbouring children, then a ‘big kid’ came slongand demanded a go. I was wickie, said kid swung at the first bsll, swivelled right around and caught bd in my left eye with one hell of a whack. I hit the deck in agony, opened my eye and it was all red from blood in my eye. Got taken to hospital and had 4 stitches just below my eyebrow. I have a sword shaped scar that’s been there around 55 years now.

Don't know if 17yrs old qualifies as childhood but I have half a dozen scars caused by sliding down the road at 60 mph wearing jeans after parting company with my YDS7 250cc Yamaha.

A trip to A and E or Casualty as it was called back then followed where I was introduced to the delights of hydrogen peroxide by a Doctor unsympathetic to motorcycling.

A couple of weeks off school and daily attention by the district nurse followed but this didnt put me off and 45 years later I still ride a motorbike, in leathers, all the time.

A garden fork through my right foot, pinning it to the ground. I've a diamond-shaped scar that looks like I was crucified.

One just above my left eyebrow when I flipped a bicycle the first time I rode one and landed on my face.

Both 'earned' before I was 10 - stupid boy!

Tips of 2 fingers on my right hand lopped off by my brother when I was 4 or 5,have a scar on my right forearm where they took a skin graft to repar the fingers, when I was 12 or 13 running into friends house his sister pushed the door closed,I put my right hand up to stop it closing....cue arm going through plate glass window and slicing my arm open. Aged 15ish while doing a paper round walking along the path minding my own business, car speeds past way over the 30mph limit and with the road surface having recently been re-dressed it flicked a stone up and caught me on the forehard, felt like I had been shot!

I have one memorable one, on my chin, from tripping and falling onto the corner of a load bed on an FSO Polonez pick up truck - no points for guessing what country I spent the first few years of my life in!

Inch and a bit scar from the centre of my left wrist joining up with the 'life line'. Can even see where the stitches were too.

I was 2 years old, and 'helping' my mum clearing a bit of scrub grass behind the garage. I tripped, and put my hand straight on the broken edge of an old broken belfast sink that had been put safely to one side to be disposed of. Cue lots of blood and a plaster cast so that I couldn't move my wrist and damage the tissue further.

I'm not sure if it's my actual earliest memory, or just that I've been told the story often enough that I can't tell the difference.

Forehead, above my left eye. My brother told me it was fun to spin round fast and try and walk in a straight line. I went face-first into the fireplace. It was only a tiny cut but I thought the world was ending.

On my right knuckles. Making ramps out of barrels and wood on a building site and jumping them on old bikes.

Unfortunately on landing the frame snapped and I slid along the gravel road hand first !

Gun shot upper right thigh.. quite the sight when on the beach..

Scar on lower and upper left foot following 6 inch rusty nail going through foot...

1 inch scar 3x on the right hand palm, all in different directions and dorsal (again different directions) while bitten by a dog (I resisted and pulled away)...

Scar on back of head following golf club swing by younger brother (anger not golf).

Left calf scar following motor cross accident (wearing shorts), throttle stuck when binned and tyre burnt through skin after throttle jammed open and leg trapped against the ground.

Scar in inside lower lip say 30mm and chipped tooth while playing ‘Star Wars’ light sabre fight with very large sticks with the big boys...

Not a single hospital/doctors visit hehe

Growing up in Kent, plenty of old bomb sites (no bombs), in the woods. Something you could only imagine.
