Just been out for my first night run out and have found that the blue main beam warning LED is so bright I can’t see the road ahead properly (as mentioned in “JM on Cars” YouTube review of the 310S).
Ideally I’d like to either replace the LED with a dimmer version or maybe just black out some of the light to a more bearable level.
Does anyone know if you can open up the instrument casing to get to the light without wrecking the whole thing or will I just have to bodge a bit of black tape onto the face of the glass?

How about that dark tint that people put on their rear lights?

I just put a small circular sticker over mine, you can still see if the high beam is on but you don't get blinded.

Well was hoping for a known fix but hey, tape works just fine and at least if the MOT tester kicks off I can peel it off again!
