Hiring a Secretary for the Day ?
Discussion
Most of the temping agencies will have what you want.
The more specific you can be with your requirement, the better they'll be able to match someone (or at least decrease the risk of the persons offered being totally unsuitable). I was offered a few roles where the brief was simply 'general office admin' - but the client wanted an experienced office manager to run their team of 30 admins for a month.
Some of the assignments were well paid when they'd call up Monday morning for someone to start immediately - and I'd have a chat with the agency, then the client and be on site within an hour for just the remainder of the day - but I could get double my normal hourly rate for that (the agency probably charged triple) - and hourly rate always worked out better than day rate. The shorter the term, the higher the rate.
