Sinn 104 St Sa ABE
Discussion
I'm that happy with my most recent acquisition I thought I'd start it's own thread
Ordered exactly a week ago I thought I'd be waiting at least another week from now until delivery however here it is, and I'm a touch smitten. Yes it's new therefore the honeymoon effect could well play a part in the emotional aspect of taking ownership however I can't see myself falling out of love with it.
Reading that back makes me chuckle, I'm writing about an inanimate object after all. Hopefully you'll know what I mean
There are 6 different variants of Sinn's 104 model, including my LE, with 4 dial colours and the choice between Arabic hour markers or just indices (Arabic dials have 'A' within their model designation, indices have an 'I'). They have released a limited edition 104 before, the metallic green dialed 104 St Sa AG ('G' for green), this was a run of 500 and has long since sold out - what I have here is from their current LE release, of which 1000 will be produced.
The faux aged lume - something that doesn't always agree with me - is the perfect shade against the dial and bezel, both straps look and feel like they'll outlast the watch, spare spring bars are a nice touch and you also get a spring bar tool which is the norm with Sinn watches. The inner and outer boxes are well made, again typical of Sinn, and they've even got a few dedicated pages within the manual rather than them just lobbing in a generic 104 booklet.
And there is, of course, that dial
This is my 5th Sinn which says it all with regards to how high regard I hold the brand.

where did you buy it from? i had a look on the sinn website and it seems to be out of stock already....
It was ordered from Sinn themselves, with it being an LE it's probably the swiftest option rather than order from a 3rd party. It's also a chunk cheaper to go via Sinn than it is Jura, for example, going by Jura's own website. If you're interested then I'd email Sinn directly asking if you can still reserve or even pay for one before their online store re-opens for it, or even if they have a date in mind as to when it'll be available again. It says 5 weeks currently, a day or two back it was 6.
