Suggestions for 25k yearly

Not sure where to start but just started new business and will be doing approx 25k miles per year.
What's the best way to go about this from a cost point of view? Lease or purchase? Budget is flexible and TBC
Also looking for tips on something comfortable to help with the longer journeys and cannot be a shed!

I’m doing similar miles, for last three years about 80% in a 1.2 petrol Yeti, but have just bought a 3 year old Volvo V90 D4 which takes a lot of strain out of things. I would recommend something similar - large, adaptive cruise, comfy seats and ride.
Other options I considered were Skoda Superb, Merc E class and Merc CLS SB. Am very pleased with the V90, the pilot assist is a massive boon and not sure you can get it on the others (unless buying new).

If you want an SUV that'll cover 25k a year & keep you well in budget for your new business to cover the running costs some of which you'll be offsetting, which plus you'll have more to put into the business.

Keep this four years & you have had a good set of wheels as well as something that will still only have 125k on the clock, plus it'll have been a nice place to be in that time.

I drive 20k a year.
My preference is to purchase something 9-12 months old, good sized, and then run it until either I see some big bills on the horizon (e.g. a £1k service) or it reaches a point where I feel my cost per mile is low enough that changing is sensible. Buying nearly new takes away the big depreciation and lots of the cost when you look at cost per mile over your time of ownership.
Had a Volvo S60 before, lovely incredibly comfy seats but infotainment was dated (new cars much better). Now in an Audi A4, just sailed through its first MOT at 60k miles with not a single issue or advisory, so possibly sticking with it for the long term.
One thing worth checking is service intervals - my S60 was every 12k miles so servicing was expensive and essentially twice a year every 7ish months. A4 has variable long life, nearly 19k miles between each, so sees a dealer less often. Not sure if newer Volvo’s still have such a short interval. Also depends if you’re happy for independent servicing or going to stick with the dealer.
If you have room for two cars, then some might recommend a nice weekend car and something cheap/a shed to eat the miles. But given how much time a year 20k miles equates to being in your car, I prefer something nice and comfortable, that is a relaxing drive, and spending a few more pennies and pounds for that.
