I want to remove the spare bit the serp belt goes around that is for power steering. Does anyone know what the length would be or have a part number?

Thanks

Don’t know the number off hand, but did this on my off road Range Rover.

One of the figures of the part number relates to belt length.

I expect google will be your friend.

I’d measure it with a bit of rope to be sure and see what’s available around that length.

On non pas cars, there is an idler pulley wheel so the belts are the same. Only serp cars with the air con have a different length belt. Personally, I used a belt a little shorter than standard (7PK 1850) to lift the belt tensioner a fraction further away from the exhaust manifold.

Would the belt be at the wrong angle for the other pulleys and compromise the belt run if you miss this section out?
