I am looking for a panel mount switch certified for 12V 15A DC. Powerwerx sell such a switch:

Powerwerx Panel Mount Switch 12V 15A DC
https://powerwerx.com/panel-mount-red-switch

The problem is the above switch is sold in the USA, and there do not seem many options in the UK. I have looked on Ebay etc and seen some flimsy looking Chinese switches, where the sellers make exaggerated comments with regards to the switches ratings.

Does anyone sell a genuine switch in the UK that is rated to at least 12v 15 amp DC?

So order one from the USA. They list shipping to the UK. Best read the reviews before you do though.

ETA If the load is an issue use a relay. This takes the high load off the switch & all the switch does is turn the relay on & off.

It's not a particularly unusual spec and I wouldn't expect any problem finding a switch similar to that from any of the usual motorsport suppliers. For example Polevolt offer several similar looking switches rated for 16A at 12V.

Thanks for your reply, however I looked on their website, but they only seem to do snap fit type switches. I was looking for the round type with a nut on the back to secure it.

That switch in the USA is similar to most of the same size and shape, won't last long if carrying 10 to 15 amps for any length of time

As mentioned by paintman, switch a relay

vehicle wiring products do snap fit round ones if that helps.

Might be not many nut fit ones out there for a reason? Maybe they rotate and get loose and no one wants a loose switch switching 16A?

The powerwex one oddly enough is a snap fit one with a plastic threaded housing it snaps into..
