330 Cabrio - do I have this right?
Discussion
I'm sure you will get lots of good tips on what you need to know, but I will say don't let the colour of the interior put you off as you can get complete interiors on ebay quite reasonably and sell yours hopefully to break even. I have a black interior but would love cream, amazing how tastes differ.
A couple of years ago I wanted a manual E91 to replace my E46 325ti and struggled to find any 330is, so I bought a 325i.
It was a good car but a bit disappointing on the performance front so last year I replaced it with an E90 330i, which is so much better.
E9* BMWs used the N52 engine until early 2007 I think, and it seems to have less issues then the later N53 engine that does seem to suffer from HPFP and Injector problems.
My E91 had Lemon leather, my E90 has Beige and I've had 2 Z4s with Pearl Grey and I never had a problem with the seats, but if you need to use child seats black may be the safest option.

I'm assuming given the price it's a E93 you're talking about (with the metal folding roof). As Mr Tidy mentions, early ones have the N52 engine (generally v reliable), later ones have the N53 engine (injector issues).
WRT the N52 engine, for me the 325i felt v slow (test drove a saloon). I'd imagine even slower on a heavier convertible. Can't comment on the later N53 325i (which is a detuned 3.0).
Here's a thread about the folding metal roof reliability I asked this question a while back as I was considering an E93 M3. Generally seems decent if you keep an eye on maintaining the seals etc.
Are your child seats isofix? Worth checking that they all fit in ok in the back before you buy. It seemed to me that the space in the back seats seems quite a bit less than the coupe and that isofix might be tricky.
