Long story, short(ish)!

I've been chasing a vibration / wobble on my Legacy for a while. Turned out to be a buckled rear wheel. I had it straightened out which cured it by around 90%.
Today I've clocked the wheels up using a DTI I borrowed from work. I clocked the inside diameter at the back of the wheel. These were the results:

Wheel 1 1.5mm
Wheel 2 0.8mm
Wheel 3 (the one that's been straightened!) 2.5mm
Wheel 4 0.3mm

I've put the 2 worst wheels on the back and the vibration has all but disappeared.

What are people's thoughts on the 2.5mm wheel? Is it an acceptable amount or should I try to get it better? This isn't about complaining to the garage who straightened it, it is what it is. But I'm an engineer by trade and talking microns all day rubs off on you!

And you've only gone to one Decimal point !
Shame on you lol
Seriously though, I wouldn't worry about that.
Try turning it one stud so it sits in a slightly different position (4 stud wheel would move 90° 5 stud would be 72°). Road test until good.
If that fails just have it rebalanced.

Haha! I got pulled the other day on a report where I had reported to four decimal places!
I blame starting off my career using imperial, a 10th of a thou is borderline, but a 10th of a micron is a bit extreme when machining!
