Anyone got any recommendations on having some custom discs made. Volvo ones are very expensive as you have to buy bell and disc Everytime.
Thanks

The best thing to do is sort out some custom bells to use with a standard size rotor from Alcon/AP/etc picked from one of their respective catalogues.

Usually the brake manufacturer catalogues or websites have design details and manufacturing specifications to meet, then all you need to do is find a decent local machine shop to actually make them.

If you know any race or rally teams local to you chances are they will be able to recommend someone

Can you not use the standard bell housings and get some off the shelf discs machined to suit ?

Might look into that. Could be a plan.

Probably very easily. And more than likely they already use a typical PCD anyway. Quite a few places offering discs these days

Yeah problem is Disc is 371mm so it's either go 370 or 380 and fit a spacer

The people offering discs, just get larger discs and machine them to suit anyway.

Whether 370, 365, 375...really neglible difference as long as caliper can be made to clear.

Or just machine the larger size down to 371 ( utterly pointless vs 370 though )

To the caliper mount to move it out to suit the 380mm diameter disc.

As long as your pads aren't overlapping the edge of the disc I'd be completely happy putting a 370mm disc on a car designed for a 371mm disc. The difference is completely insignificant.

Ok makes sense now then , the 370 makes more sense as the 380 could lead to other issues with wheel clearance.

Runs 20" so clearance should be okay. ,
