1990s Oriental Soft Drink

Something's bugging me today so I'm hoping one of you lot may be able to jog my memory.

Back in the early 90's there was a canned soft drink available in the UK that was oriental in origin. I assume Japanese as it had a red sun on the white/silver can.

Had a bit of an odd fruity flavour which was not quite like anything else.

Anyone know what I'm on about and can you remember the name?

Oh no, I see their packaging is silver and blue...

I can't remember the name but it was a sort of orange, passion fruit and ginsing flavour and used to get if from the chippy.

Miataki or something.

matataki? A couple of references to it elsewhere on forums but no photos as yet!

Matataki isn't flicking on a lightbulb in my head but it could be right. It was a weird drink; some days I loved it and others I couldn't stand the stuff!

It's not Japanese, it's an English brand designed to look Japanese inspired.
