fitted some n ew oz wheels to my car 7.5 j as against the original 7j and at the back drivers side the wheel sits 5mm under the arch but the passenger side rear sits 4mm out side of the arch. so the body most not be centered correctly at the back. is it possible to adjust the body without totally removing it.

I think they are all a bit like that. You can loosen all body bolts and try adjusting it but watch your door gaps and roof fit aren't affected.
