Ok then, don't know what's going on with the uploaded images, your image was of the correct rotation when I saved it to my computer

That’s some work you have done there. Absolutely fantastic and effectively added to the number of surviving cars.
Hats off bow

Been a long time coming - but a milestone day!

A few weeks to wait, which means I can get garage painted and sorted so hoping to hit the roads for back end of summer!

We will have to meet up Alun.

Yes that would be brill.

Sadly it seems to go unnoticed as PH doesn't have the contributors like it did but any owner who has learnt a few things about these cars will admire this huge challenge you took on.
Looks great on its wheels too. I hope that engine worked out

Look at the state of that.
I feared you’d be at this for years.

I’ve finally worked it out,, a bloke similar to me set about doing his Chassis,,, lost faith and gave up or it was one of those “ projects I’m doing” which just never gets done.
Motivation is everything in life.

PH is now a pain for loading pictures which is a crying shame frown

Anyway what a transformation.
That’s a restoration project.
Us with rigger trouble should think again rofl

I know you have a proper job, how long has it taken you as really this is a huge task part time Dave! Is it 2 years you’ve owned the car?

Well done Dave.
As Alun said, that was an Epic rebuild.
You should be proud of yourself.

When it comes back from the paint shop e mail a few photos to the seller.

I am not sure where in the country you are, but if in the South East, a meet up would be great.

Thanks guys!

All very standard still bar, Nitrons, Ali Rad, uprated bushes, more earths and larger cables! but prior to respray its cost me £6400 to get it where it is today! But, for me its the hobby of building it - once up on the road and enjoying it I can then start to do upgrades along the way - but there are no intentions of selling at all. Plus my son has loved it - and it gets him off his Xbox!

Alun, I purchased it way back in 2017 but was about 6 months before getting round to doing anything with it due to house move. and without loosing control of any kind of budget I have had to give myself a monthly budget for parts and get a bit savvy. But, considering every nut and bolt has been replaced - I'm quite chuffed! Plus, the house only has a small internal garage which means unlike a lot of you I can only really work on it when the weather is better as when the car is in there - I have about 12 inches either side of the car.

Duncan, I am in the Northamptonshire - but as soon as its up and running I will be making up for lost time on the roads - so a meet would be great! I have this month just joined TVRCC so will start heading to the meets.

This gives you an idea of the overhaul ….

Just looking forward to getting her back now!
