Afternoon lads

I'm after a bit of advice if possible

So the short story is my mother sadly passed away in November, all the estate is sorted now so Saturday i went out and purchased a Rolex 2019 Submariner with the insurance money i had. I love it and i'm so glad i went for it. I will get something lasered onto the back plate to in remembrance to her also.

My Q is regarding insurance for it. We are about to move home so i don't know whether to stick it on that , then move the policy to new address etc or is it worth me getting its own insurance. and if i do, with who? who would cover it for comprehensively .

I've never owned anything like this before so just a bit stuck on how best to insure it moving forward

Cheers,

Even if you pay for the watch to have its own insurance, you’ll still need to change details and maybe pay a higher premium when you move.

I’ve had mine on house insurance for the last 6 years, moved house once, no hassle at all.
