Used Audi A6 advice

I am looking for a 2015 A6 Avant, most cars advertised have an s-tronic auto gearbox. I will be keeping this car for several years and will put approx 100k miles on the car in that time.
I’ve read horror stories on the auto box. Should I avoid the auto and stick with a manual gearbox?
Or will the auto reliable?

Started off looking for the same model and did some reseach as had heard the same.
From the 2015 FL model it was a different and much better box to the earlier auto boxes. The 2013 on was improved as had more clutch plates but was the sam sort of CVT based box as the earlier ones that caused a lot of expensive to fix problems. early 2000 on was crap till 2013 I gathered.

I am looking for a 2015 with a max of 50k miles. I’ve also read that the 7 seed box is better. Anyone know about this?

Had one that the synchro in 4th was starting to sound like borkage incoming. Make sure the Gearbox oil change is done as required at 38,000miles.
