Solvent Abuse

Hi there,

Following instructions from this thread :

I can now keep my sun visor's up. Total rizzult :)!

However - I now need to remove the efforts of a previous owner who glued velcro onto the vinyl cover of the sun visor and to the roof of the car :rolleyes:. I don't think the stuff is as solid as something like araldite - it's a bit more gummy than that. Any ideas for solvents that might take it off without destroying the vinyl ?

Also - anyone know where the mirror insert in the passenger visor come from - mine has cracked ?
