BMW E61 Tailgate Glass

Anybody know how to pop the glass hatch using INPA or DIS 457 software?

The switch no longer works and before I pull apart the trim to try and unlock it from the otherside I thought I'd try this method! I'm hoping it's just the switch and not the cables running into the boot lid as that's a much bigger job...oh, and you can't get to the cables without opening the tailgate glass first. Catch 22.

On dis it should be under control unit functions - component activation. Can’t remember the name of the ecu u need to select tho- so just click through them

Or you can code the footwell switch to do just the glass? Or the button the key? That might do it for you.

I don't know how to do coding! Will plug the laptop in this weekend and have a play around with it.

DIS should let you do it. Or Carly if you have that.
