Picked up the new 996TT yesterday morning. Still haven't stopped grinning like an idiot. It's a truly awesome bit of kit.

Went for a Manual.

At the risk of getting severely flamed, I personally don't like sports cars with auto boxes.

To my eternal shame, I can't figure out how to post pics. Help !!!!

Find a host (where they can be put (upoladed) onto the internet) like webshots.com or tyresmoke.net/gallery

Then link them to your post with.
[pic]url of your picture.jpg[/pic]

The filename.jpg should appear when you right click on the pic and go to properties.

Presto your pic should appear.

Car sounds lovely, how does it compare to the M3?

Difficult to compare with the M3, but here goes.

1) Performance - No contest, the tt would eat the M3 for breakfast.
2) Ease of driving. Similar for me, however, my Mrs hated driving the M3, as she said it was too heavy (clutch, steering, etc). Let her drive the tt, and she said "Oh, this is nice, it's easier to drive than my Renault" !!!!
3) Practicality - No contest either. M3 has proper back seat, and decent sized boot.
4) Presence - This one's a bit subjective, but for me the tt turns a lot more heads than the M3

The colour is "Slate Grey". It's one of the special order colours.
