Recommended low value investment app

Hi,

I’m looking for an iPhone app that will let me invest in funds/stock market. Nothing major, £50 to £100/month.

Any recommendations for beginners.

I figure there’s no money in savings accounts so might have a bit of fun instead.

I use IG.

Easy to use and low fee per trade.

Although, they have recently introduced a quarterly fee if you don't trade that quarter, which means I'm looking elsewhere.

Might meet your requirements though.

I had this exact thought about 18 months ago whilst planning to leave the U.K. for a while. Opted for Moneyfarm as they had an offer for no fees at that time. I chose a risk profile (60%) equities which in hindsight was not aggressive enough and have hardly put any money in there.

As of today I’m up 8.44% (was 11% a couple of weeks ago). From memory I’m paying 1% costs which is Have a functional if a little minimalist iPhone app, my biggest complaint is that there’s no native iPad app and instead you get an iPhone size phone app a much larger screen (first world problem).

Certainly worth having a look at, although if you haven’t already I can’t recommend enough that you read the Intelligent Money sticky thread. One of my first jobs when we’re back is to transfer the Moneyfarm ISA to IM. I believe they also have an app, although thats the tip of the iceberg of what they offer.

Vanguard - It's not an app, but the website is genuinely good enough that Vanguard aren't willing to make one for that reason, I've just saved it on my home screen so it might as well be an app
