Blue skies today, quiet country roads and a 20 mile blast to shake off the winter cobwebs! I always knew the DB9 was a thirsty beast but I wasn’t expecting this...

Loved every minute though!

I take it the engine was warmed on the drive before going into “spirited” mode ?!

That would get you 0 mpg for a few minutes.

You've beaten what I thought was a record I set in my Ford GT of 4mpg.

This is quite irritating.

Impressive. I've achieved 4.2mpg up a very steep hill in the wrong gear, but in an automatic that's some work...

Well done! That's a few gallons that won't be 'wasted' in a hatchback or econobox.

Wow! I estimate that to be about £40 of super unleaded if my maths is correct or £2 per mile. Excellent going!!

We can all beat that number just sitting in the car as it idles in neutral.

But to acheive that number whilst driving is quite heroic. Well done you!
