"Abduction, forced return, torture and a campaign of intimidation. On Thursday the damning allegations made against the billionaire ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, by his former wife, Princess Haya Bint Al-Hussain, became established fact, published in a series of judgements by Britain's High Court."

I assume Boris will ensure he's arrested when he turns up to watch his horse run at Ascot.

The Sheikh's got 30 children by various wives. Boris is more likely to ask him for advice.

This is all a waste of time. One very Rich and powerful family doing some bad things in another country who needs their money and benefits from their oil and gas....nothing at all will happen.

Their was a BBC documentary on this the victim described being in a golden prison effectively.

The world is a messed up place but this really is a non story.

The first step is to convert to Islam where poligamy is permitted and encouraged. Something tells me this won't sit well.woth his suppprter base.

Call me cynical but there will be some hand wringing, maybe a few tuts under.the breath but when this guy shows up in the UK, nothing will happen aside from Boris and the rest rolling over like the compliant doggies they are.

There was a documentary a few years back. The princess was on a boat far out at sea but the brave indian special forces intercepted it and hander her over to the sheikh. This bit got somehow missed on the news last night.
Wonder if they got medals.

Wasn’t the reason this was tried in the UK because at least one of the abductions happened in the UK?
