Help, need advice

Hello, i really need some advice on buying a TVR, i have always owned BMW's and i have come to be used to their build quality, i know BMW and TVR are completely different types of cars and I'm not expecting the same reliability but i don't want to throw money away, is it best to stick to the v8's ?

Hi Dan,

Before getting my first Griff i had spent 6 years with Audi A6 quattros and got very used to their reliability and bullet proof build quality so like you, I was very concerned about the long term prospects of TVR ownership.
All I can say is....If you don't mind the odd gremlin or minor fault that can and do occur (which you must expect from ANY high performance sports car) and are willing to do the odd minor repairs yourself. Then the shear exhilaration of TVR ownership far out ways Germanic build quality and dull road handling.
Speaking only from experience of Griffith ownership, it has been (surprisingly) as cheap to run as my Audi's were.
I use my Griff for work as well as play and even after 18 months, I still get out of the car with a huge grin on my face.

Hello & welcome.

Extremely knowledgeable types will offer advice & solutions to just about any questions you may have about purchasing your 1st TVR. I on the other hand will point you in the direction of the "green TVR's are fastest" thread for advice that really matters.
