New Cerbera Owner - Happy but slightly squeaking!
Discussion
Got her yesterday, Cooper green 96 4.2. Done 100 odd miles in already since yesterday lunchtime.
Fantastic car, loving every minute of driving her. Runs sports pipes with cats but still bloody loud, getting the feel of her bit by bit, still only scraping the surface of the performance on tap! taking her over to Le Mans next week, camping at Maison Blanche. Only thing I have notices so far is a regular squeaking noise, I think from the rear, which increases & decreases relative to speed, but only happens after about half hour of driving, so presumably when something gets hot. Anyone experience anything similar?

I had a nasty squeak that went away when it was raining. Found out it was where the handbrake cables go through the 20mm holes in the chassis. The outer protection on the cable had worn down to the metal and was squeaking on the chassis. Sorted it with some rubber bungs. Another rattle has now surfaced and I can't find the damm thing so I just wind the windows down and rev a bit harder to drown it out.
