Hi new poster looking for a bit of advice... Just bought 330ci auto everything seems OK just a few issues... 1st the speedometer and rev counter don't light up the cluster is working can see the miles and what gear your on the other lights light up wen starting engine just no lights behind so can see how fast your going at night... Also the doors lock from the fob but the drivers door won't unlock from the fob or key so have to open passenger door and open drivers side by reaching over any advice would be much appreciated thanks

I would remove the cluster and have a look if anything loose connection wise.

Have you taken any trim off at all?

I know there is a wire that runs to the lighter under the armrest that can chaff and short and this can take out your dash lights.

The door actuator sounds like it has gone. You can pick up a new one for £30 and loads of "How to...." videos on youtube.

Hi thanks couldn't reply as my account wasn't allowed to for some reason... I'll take it to garage and show them wat u have put about the dials... Also it has a BMW business radio looking to replace with newer sat nav radio centre is this possible

Yeah you can.

There is so much info out there for E46 and nav upgrades. Have a search mate.
