I need to replace the side seals on my targa panel (1985 350i). I plan to look at Baines Ltd, but before I do does anyone happen to know of a part number and alternate source? Thanks Patrick

Is this what you're after? ..... Targa seal

It's an odd one, I don't believe you'll find anywhere other than a TVR Specialist.

Thanks for suggestions, Wollies do indeed have something close which I have ordered.

Hi, no the profile on those was quite different, but thanks. I did attempt to reply earlier but newbies were not allowed to post following abuse earlier!

Can you get a photo up to save all the guessing?

The ones Mark's photo shows are the Targa hoop, not the panel confused

Hi, finally able to post a reply as, once again, locked out as a newbie due to some abusive activity elsewhere - does that happen often? My replacement seals from Woolies arrived today and looks very promising, I will fit over the weekend and report.

I posted that as someone asked me previously about side seals and actually meant those...the one you posted is the original side targa panel seal, and the correct fitment, previous to that it was the same as the door seal...smile

I've been on PH for 6 years now and never had any access issues so seems strange. To be honest due to a number of reasons most Wedgeists now use Facebook as the chosen forum. There are two groups there - the most active and useful for Wedge related technical information is the TVR Wedge Owners UK. There are a few opinionated trolls on PH that ruin things for many hence the move. My only concern is that as far as I am aware the best overall electrical advice comes from one PH member who as far as I can tell is not on FB. Dick Dastardly's mate - you know who I mean......
