Sorry if I’m in the wrong forum, unsure where to post it.

Thinking of a 2nd hand Honda CR-V, but put off slightly by the rear passenger side wheel trim being discoloured. Car is a very good price and other than dog smell and hairs I was wondering if it’s an easy fix to get the plastic back to black. Don’t think ‘back to black ’etc would work, any advice welcome? By the way, the car is a 14 plate and noticed exactly the same issue in the same place on a 17 reg.

… or if you want something permanent then I'd recommend GTechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer

Brilliant, especially the restorer. I’ve just checked the reviews on Amazon and some very positive reading. Thanks again off to purchase.

Immaculate Reflection's "Return Of The Black" is pretty good stuff.

I'm looking for a product also but it needs to be silicone free.
All the ones I've looked at contain silicone

Clean trims with APC, my go to apc Bilt hamber, or Koch Chemie greenstar.

Rinse well, dry, then wipe over with a good panel prep. Gyeon prep, or carpro eraser then leave product to fully flash off.

Apply 2 coats of gyeon cancoat with an hour between coats. Job done.
