That's a bit stupid though. Aviation 'taking off' as new form a travel, mostly for the better off people initially is incomparable with digital media. Only FB and Twitter can really be compared with PHb.

Could be all sorts of ways, for example they had an existing site they migrated over to the new platform/branding, invested very heavily in digital marketing, etc. These sort of big growth timeframes almost always have a lot of work/money behind them and we only see the headline figures.

The average visit to the site lasts 10 mins and 28 seconds, that includes 28 seconds cleaning up the mess.

In Italy...

"As Italy closes down non-essential businesses, Pornhub will allow Italian users to access premium content without having to put in their credit card information."

There's a podcast about the porn industry called The Butterfly Effect. I don't like the guy who presents it, he sounds a bit creepy especially with the subject matter. He spoke to the guys at PornHub and they're really in to the data. Like I always thought those in porn were in it for the porn. But they were really engaged with the data side of it. How those men who were between 21-25 years old in one part of the world had more of a taste in one specific category than the same age range in another part.

Very interesting really.

If you're interested in the porn industry, this is an interesting podcast mini-series. Apparently, the whole industry was supercharged by one Belgian guy: http://www.jonronson.com/butterfly.html

One of my old school pals started professional life doing fancy physics at NASA. He was paid a fortune there but now he works as a data scientist flitting between jobs with all the various mega app and online blockbuster companies. The money is ridiculous. He would know a thing or three about some of pron hub's niche products so I can see him there next. Chances are also that I could also see him on their website already.

Only fans is involved in an agent vs principal VAT case (a little bit like Uber’s situation)

It may well be one of the last such cases that sneaks in before the deadline to get passed up to the European courts
