Where can I pay into funds immediately?

I’ve got 2 accounts with Nutmeg, and invest into their higher risk funds in both. The problem is they only invest money twice per week. Usually Mon and Thurs but this is subject to change with no notice.

So if on Tuesday I want to pay a substantial amount into my accounts it won’t be invested until Thursday. Usually not a problem but recently has cost me money.

I know that “timing the market” isn’t a done thing on PH but I’ve now lost out twice due to this. Is there anywhere else I can do a passive investment into funds but where I can pay into a fund either immediately or at least same day?

Buy an ETF. Have a look at the Vanguard range.

Thanks. Are there any disadvantages to ETF’s vs what I’m currently doing now? I’ve looked on their website but it’s about as clear as mud to a novice investor.

I'm no expert I just tend to make a lot of use of VWRL which is a FTSE All world tracker. I would do some research on ETFs - I know there have been some concerns about them not have been tested massively in a time of stress like this but I like the way you can get in and out of a trade immediately at a cost of about a tenner with Hargreaves Lansdown.
